I am working with a pregnant woman, a doula client, who is worried about
breastfeeding because, she reports, she has always had extremely sensitive
nipples/breasts. Sensitive to the point where she can't stand for her
husband to touch them. I have searched the archives and they contain the
suggestion of using a nipple shield to help the mom deal with the
stimulation from the nursing baby. Can anyone suggest anything else I
should consider?
