All right. This is war. I hope to see the day when we get together and
turn "defensive medicine" in our favor. Get people to see that so many
*defensive* measures that *they* take are offensive to us. Sue for the
c/section that caused mom that nasty infection and baby to be temporarily
neurologically damaged so that he couldn't learn to bf and had a terrible
time with allergies....... Sue for forcing the 24 hr old onto the breast so
that she refused to nurse once home, and mom gave formula to which the baby
was allergic and vomitted until dehydrated.......I don't have to go on,
any one of us could give an infinite number of examples. My only question
is, Why doesn't it happen? Anti-breastfeeding medical personnel should
feel the pinch of lactation activists watching them. I don't think that
malpractice should be that far away. I get *furious* when I hear that
formula is just as good as breastmilk. Let's get militant. Judy K. mother
of 2 soldiers, one retired, one active duty.
