Anything you write is automatically copyrighted to you, unless you
distribute it freely without a copyright notice the circle c symbol,
your name, and the year at the bottom of the title page, or each page if
you wish. In order to enforce copyright violations, you need to
register your copyright with the Register of Copyrights at the Library
of Congress. To register, one needs to send a special form, a copy of
the work, and a fee. You can download the forms from their website
http://www.loc.gov/copyright/ . If you are planning on distributing it
or selling it, registering it first is advisable. Sounds like a neat
project!
