I'm sorry, I have a hard time believing that an organization with a highly
esteemed image to protect, like the American Academy of Pediatrics, for gosh
sakes, would have NO WAY of controlling what is done in it's name. Sorry,
but to believe this I would also have to believe that a book by the AAP
about Healthy Breathing could be picked up and branded by Phillip Morris
Tobacco Company. -It's not going to happen.
In my opinion, either they are so slip-shod in their dealings, or gullible,
that they should not be trusted at all, or they had control and didn't think
it was important in this case to maintain the integrity of the document they
had written.
AND, if in fact they WERE taken in by the shystering of the Ross marketeers,
they should be announcing a lawsuit post haste. Either way, they have some
explaining to do.
