In sociology, this is the famous Hawthorne effect - didn't know it
had a quantum physics equivalent!

You'd see it if you did a study which involved 100 women bf who
agreed to have their feeding experience followed, and who then
received a phone call at, say, 2 months asking them if they are still
bf.

You would not be able to show it was the knowledge they were being
studied that encouraged them/discouraged them from continuing.
