Thanks to all who responded to my query re baby who's begun nursing with his
finger in his mouth. It is not totally comfortable for this mom and also
allows air intake as lip seal is broken, something even this older baby
doesn't need, especially with his discomfort with GER. I was asking
primarily to see if others see this as a marker for sensory integration
disorder.
I will try the suggestion of something in his hand and let you know the
oucome.
