Teresa, you bring up a good point. I recently watched an episode of
Oprah. It was about stay-at-home moms who had opened their own
businesses. One lady's baby had been deathly ill--having terror screams
and breaking out in a rash. The doctors told her he was going to die. She
eventually began keeping a diary of everyone's activities, food, etc. She
noticed that when she cleaned on Mondays, her baby ended up in the ER on
Tuesdays. She identified that it was the chemicals in her cleaning agents
that were causing the problem. To make a long story short, she developed a
line of cleaning products that were chemical free (based on her
grandmother's recipe). I believe they are called Soap Works (you can check
Oprah's archives, or perhaps the address would be soapworks.com), and
includes items like baby wipes. Her son was cured, and she built a $10
million dollar company in the process.
This mom made a very profound statement on the show. She said that when
she started the diary, she took back the power that she had given to others
by believing that they knew more about her baby than she did.
Perhaps these products may help this baby with eczema as well.
Thank you,
Joyce
