Stacy,
She could check out
http://www.wiessinger.baka.com/bfing/breastvbottle/wean.html &
at http://promom.org/101/index.html . As well as info on the LLLI site (if
she can gain access, it's been down from *some* computers for several days):
www.lalecheleague.org. If I'm not mistaken breastmilk will always contain
antibodies the mother produces. Besides the health benefits there are a
host of emotional benefits to both baby and mother, as well as some built in
conveniences. My personal favorites are that nursing an older baby is a
great way to have quiet phone conversation, it's easier and cheaper than
bribing with candy, I get to lay down when the baby is ready to go to sleep,
no messy spills to clean up. I could go on and on ...........
