I think that one of the most important points to bring out is that
breastfeeding researchers and organisations like WHO have worked hard over
the years to develop definitions of breastfeeding etc that will produce
meaningful results (I don't have the citations handy but I'm sure that
someone else will). This study ignored this work completely and as a result
produced just the type of results that others tried to prevent by working
out the definitions- the results are meaningless- it is very sloppy science
indeed. Makes you wonder how easy it might be to get published in The
Lancet?
