Both the World Health Organization and Miriam Labbok have devised very
specific research definitions for different amounts of breastfeeding.  The
WHO ones should be available from their web site.  Labbok and Krasovec is
the references for Labbok's definitions.  I believe the guidelines for
publication in Journal of Human Lactation include the requirement that the
research be done using one or the other of these sets of definitions.
