I have had an urgent request for information from a mother feeding a 2 1/2
yearold. She has just been diagnosed with a fairly rare condition known as
Wolf,Parkinson and White Syndrome. She has been prescribed Sotalol for her
condition and has been told to stop feeding her child who is currently
feeding at least 5 times a day..
I have searched the archives but have not been able to find appropriate
information. Is Sotalol compatible with breastfeeding?
If not are there any other appropriate beta blockers that could be
recommended?
Thanks
Barbara Fletcher,RN,IBCLC.
