I had a client in WIC yesterday that mentioned something very interesting to
me. She said that her now 2 1/2 y/o was exclusively BF until 2 y/o. She
recently saw the dentist and had all of her top front teeth capped. The
dentist stated this was due to night nursing and extended nursing. Mom
stated that she thought she was being a great mom by nursing her to 2. She
said she was a person that wasn't going to have any kids but has breastfed
both and the 2nd until 2.
I searched the archives and found some older archives. I am so appreciative
of having this resource. My question is does anyone know of any newer
research in the past 2-4 years r/t breastfeeding and tooth decay?
Thanks,
