What kind of pump is she using?
I would pump while nursing or immediately after, especially first thing
in the am. i would NOT let a 4 month old sleep through the night but
would wake the baby to nurse every 3-4 hours. I would NOT pump in the
middle of the night, what is the point besides lack of sleep? I would
bring the baby to bed and sleep topless to encourage baby to nurse more.
I would try to get to baby at lunch during the day for one more nursing
session. I would stop all solids completely. And beer does not help at all.
