I think the bottom line is that no matter how altruistic the motives may
APPEAR, the ultimate goal is to get customers, either directly or secondary
to a "friendly" reputation. I think it was Marsha Walker who pointed out so
well that legally a company can't support it's competitors!
Refer also to the fantastic satire that appeared a couple weeks back
comparing formula packs to quitting smoking "support packs".
Good luck - sometimes it is a real challenge to get others to see what is so
clear to us!
