I work as a lactation specialist for a local community health clinic. First of all, I am not an IBCLC, I am working furiously to finish up my requirements to sit for the exam either this summer or next. I have and continue to take classes through the Lactation Institute as well as clinical hours, reading everything I can get my hands on, LLL, etc.
I have very recently begun working in the clinic doing consults....and have just begun helping in the hospital. We are in the process of assembling a contract "specifying" exactly what I will be doing. I am interested in finding out information from others in the field that maybe in similar situations. How are your contracts worded? What types of things have you included? Any information you can include or provide would be very helpful. Thank you so much.
