Visitation does not mean overnights. This is an infant, not a 5 yr old. I
don't know about you, but my babies were never away from me for more than a
few hours (actually most were never away at all). It is extremely disturbing
to me that members of the bf'ing community are taking an adversarial attitude
toward the mom. I did extensive research on attacment and divorce on behalf
of a friend going through this a couple of years ago. I spoke with a number
of well-respected researchers in the field. Without exception, they said that
mothers are losing left and right in the courts and their resaerch shows that
this means babies are losing, too. None of them supported overnights for
children before the age of three. BTW, this is a SAHM.
