I'm someone who bought his first stereo machine in 1969.  I missed
Quadraphonic altogether.  Obviously, I'm not all that into the highest fi,
although I certainly enjoy a good sound system.  I've never been able to
follow audio technical discussions.  Db and Hz, etc., are mysteries waiting
to be revealed.

So I'd like to ask:

1.  How big a room do I need for surround-sound speaker placement?

2.  How much equipment, other than three more speakers (I already have a
subwoofer) do I need, and how much will I have to pay?
