Just to clarify, Sue - I take it the ad you're referring too was that
very sneaky one which was an *indirect* way of advertising formula,
because formula advertising (of first stage formula) to consumers is
not allowed in the UK. It was advertising, that's for sure, but it
did not mention a brand of formula by name, only the manufacturer's
name. The ad purported to be a bit of information about
*ingredients*, namely fatty acids, in formula. They hoped to get way
with it.
Trading Standards - the local govt. body that looks after violations
of trade, including this one, is investigating. I hope they decide to
prosecute.
