I have often thought of this myself. In my extended family (my in-law
family) the other (I mean other than MY one) babies have been
schedule-fed on bottles, and THEN later on, on real meals. I have 2
nephews, 4.5 and 3 yrs old, who are NOT ALLOWED to eat in between
meals. Not even "good for them" things like veggies and fruit. They
were on 4 set bottlefeed times per day by 4 months of age (and "sleeping
through"), and are now on 3 set mealtimes per day: breakfast, lunch,
and supper.

I can't even begin to think of the kind of impact this may have later
on. Luckily they come from skinny stock to begin with.
