About over feeding -

If you do something long enough you find an exception to the rule. I
would always teach that a breast baby cannot over feed. However, a baby
with gastroesophageal refluxcan over feed. The milk feels better going
down than coming back up. Not my thought but extracted from the last
ILCA conference in DC. No pun intended but has been food for thought in
my practice.
