Labial adhesions are NOT related to bfdg!! They are due to low estrogen
levels in baby. Some girls just have them. It is so common, most peds
check for this at every visit. When I worked in the peds office we saw it
monthly easily. They treat with Premarin cream vaginally till they open.
Sometimes they re-adhese. They will be fine once they start producing
estrogen...ie puberty. Again, not related to bfdg!
