Just FYI,
I am going to be interviewed by a local TV station this morning for the evening news about this report. I plan on stressing the breastfeeding aspect of it, and also talk about all the other benefits of breastfeeding, the Healthy People 2010 and AAP goals, and that as health care providers we are not doing enough to advocate and educate re: breastfeeding.

But I can't help being disappointed that on MSNBC the home page headline has been reduced to: "Childrearing cuts breast cancer risk," and the "Are You At Risk?" quiz that accompanies the article doesn't ask about breastfeeding history at all. Sometimes all the research in the world can't change cultural bias : /
