I noticed the post about a Bactroban recall of certain lot numbers. I
certainly hope it is not being widely prescribed for nipple yeast
infections. It is a topical antibacterial medication, available in the
U.S. only by prescription. It is not an antifungal, and would be
useless against a yeast infection. Thank you for providing the lot
numbers; health care providers frequently use it to treat impetigo,
which is a common skin infection occurring most frequently in children.
