SURELY this is a _joke_!  You can go _no where_ in Italy to _any_ church,
museum, etc. without seeing a Madonna and Child breastfeeding.  I was so
frustrated in Florence - lots of paintings and statues - but NO slides or
postcards with the_literally hundreds_ of Madonna and baby Jesus
breastfeeding pictures.  I finally took it upon myself to take some
pictures with my digital camera - no flash, of course - of some of those I
saw in Pisa...

I used to always use the statement "Do you think Joseph had to bring the
cow along when the Holy Family escaped from Nazareth?" when I lived in PR
where most of my audience was Christian...

Unfortunately, I saw no _mom_ breastfeeding in Italy - but had a great
conversation with a new mom in the train station in Vienna...waiting for
her mom to introduce her to her 6 week old grandbaby!
