I would be very interested in seeing a copy of your
nipple shield policy/protocol that includes mandated
follow-up visits.  I think it is a great idea.  One
question, though...what allowances would be made for
follow-up visits with LCs who are per diem employees
and may not be scheduled to work within the
recommended time frame?

I wish I could mandate follow-up visits with our
Lactation Team for all our premies that we send home,
too!
