It has been taught to us at the hospital i work at that nipple shields can
reduce your milk supply by up to 50% but nobody has ever shown me anything to
back that statement up. Do any of you have any info for me?
     I am not an LC, but have started attending any courses I can because I
would like to eventually become an LC. I do alot of breastfeeding teaching
and support at work and would like to become an LC so I can do my job better.
We do have some wonderful LC's at my hospital, but there will never be
enough.  thanks for any info you have.
