I certainly hope that the pediatrician is dealing with this. I would
consider this a case of neglect, frankly. A mother who is so determined to
stick to a schedule that she is ignoring severe crying and signs of
dehyndration would seriously concern me, and I would want to be sure this
baby's care is closely supervised.
