Who is setting the feeding schedule here? If mom is unwilling to feed
more than every 4 hours, the baby will be very hungry, and irate that no
one is paying any attention.
If baby is only willing to eat every 4 hours, it could be because
feeding is unpleasant or scary due to GER or high milk flow. Is there an
IBCLC you could send her to for some in-person help to get the baby
latching and taking the milk right from the breast? Human milk flows
faster through a bottle nipple, and the baby can actually be overwhelmed
by the flow and seem to prefer formula for that reason alone.
