good luck with your studies and clinicals in nursing school. glad to have
you on lactnet. you ask "What do you, as practicing lactation consultants,
recommend for mothers who are worried about chemical contaminants in their
breast milk?" i would say that breastfeeding is about the most perfect food
in an imperfect world. individuals and societies should try to minimize
contaminants whenever possible but it is impossible to avoid completely.
