Can't see any reason at all why this baby shouldn't breastfeed, based on
the information you've given. Can't understand why the baby is still not at
birthweight though. THAT doesn't usually happen in any NICU. Is there a
reason why they are restricting the fluid that the baby is getting???? The
baby might as well breastfeed--He's not gaining well bottling....and as all
of the initial issues have resolved as you say, there shouldn't be any issue
at all with him breastfeeding. Maureen Allen
