Anh my heart goes out to you... your concerns, professionally expressed,
were nontheless tangible in your posting.  I won't make many comments other
than repeating something I heard Peter Hartmann say.  Minimal breastmilk
synthesis occurs while the baby is actually on the breast and
feeding.  Therefore to increase a breastmilk supply it's very important to
drain the breast as efficiently and completely as possible, but having the
bby constantly on the breast isn't helpful.
This doesn't sound like what you are doing though, baby only feeding 8 or
so times a day.  But may be useful to add to the other suggestions you get.
