Dear Friends:
Alcohol based gentian violet is the only kind one can find easily. How
much alcohol is a baby going to get if a mom swabs her nipples, areolas and
the baby's mouth once with a solution-wet q-tip once every 3 days?
(Especially after evaporation.)
Alcohol is in Table 6 of the new AAP drug list.
