Can those of you sitting for the IBCLC exam as a renewal at 5 or 10 years
tell me what strategy are you using to study?


My main strategy is going to be alternating periods of ignoring it and then having major panic attacks!!

Personally, I did no workshops for it the first time. I had been a LLL leader for several years, had taught lots of bfing classes and workshops and did extensive reading and attended lots of conferences. I read and took notes in the Ruth Lawrence, Jan Riordan, and Bfing Answer Books and then re-read those notes. I listened to conference sessions on tapes and found those to be very helpful. ( I am a very auditory learner).
This time I am reading some of the newer books
(I bought several at the Texas Bfing Summit)and closer to the time will review some of the recent conference syllabuses ( good outlines in those).
Are there any sample exam questions anywhere? That may be helpful.
