Lynn says,
<< I also discuss how babies whose mothers attend to their first frets
and sounds usually have babies who scream less intense and for shorter
periods because those babies learn they don't have to scream that mom will
respond to quieter calls for attention.<<
This is great! Though obviously a "fact" that we all know in our hearts, is
there something published out there that describes this? I would love to read

Read "The Vital Touch" by Sharon Heller -- fabulous (read w/ highlighter in
hand!!) and/or (preferably AND) Our BAbies Ourselves by Meredith Small.
Personally, I think both books should be REQUIRED reading for any new parent,
though they aren't written for parents.
Jan Barger -- visiting dd Torrey in Indianapolis and having a wonderful time!
