Thank you for saying so well what I have been thinking as I have read many of
the recent posts on this topic.

It would obviously be wonderful  if all people could work at their life's
dream job with little care for the monetary gain attached, but it is sadly
not so.

As a LLL volunteer, former stay-at-home mom, LC, current part-time health
educator/part-time stay-at-home mom, I know the meaning of sequencing and
choosing fields for work and volunteer efforts which align with my ideals.

I have been somewhat dismayed at the implication that one in the lactation
field can not truly be an advocate if money is changing hands.  Just my
simplistic view of the issue.  I do realize there are many shades of gray in
this topic and I respect others' dissenting opinions - not trying to flame
anyone!
