Barb wrote about how she clearly interfered in the artificial baby milk salesperson's efforts to sell their product through her office. 

I would like to highly commend Barb for acting ethically, professionally,correctly and bravely in this regard. The message that she has sent to her staff by stating the truth and refusing to post this advertisement will have far reaching positive educational effects. 

However, since I have been in Barb's position and have acted in a similar fashion (I am proud to say), I also realize that there might be repercussions from various ethically ignorant yet, powerful sources in the institution. It is important to remember that while, it is difficult to withstand 
negative responses from supervisors and administrators, one might actually use their actions to reinforce our point!

I want to extend my full hearted support and encouragement to Barb and others like her. I haven't felt this proud and hopeful about our work for a long time!!!!!!
