I'm enjoying this discussion of methods of teaching hand expression.
Regarding videos, I love the hand expression sequence in the video "Breast
is Best." This Norwegian video contains much more than just hand expression
- it also the most awe inspiring shot of a premature baby at the breast.
Last summer in London I was honored to get sneak peak at the beta model of
a life-sized breast expression model that "lets down" hand cream when
correctly expressed. What a fun teaching tool! I'm not certain if it is
available in this country yet. The model was envisioned by a Baby-Friendly
UK trainer, and was being developed by a UK company called "Limbs and Things."
Happy WBW to you all!
