Just a tad off topic, but my daughter had labial adhesions and the
pediatrician broke the adhesion (with an instrument) against my verbal
direction not to do so. I was furious. Later on, a new pediatrician told
me that while they sometimes apply topical estrogen, she had never seen a
child who grew up without the adhesion breaking on its own. So in her
opinion (and in mine), there is not any reason to do anything about it.
It's just so incredibly common, I can't imagine that nature makes such
big mistakes....
