I'm certainly not a marine biologist, but I've seen movies of whales and
dolphins breastfeeding.  My understanding is that the mother 'pumps' the
milk out into the ocean water.  The milk is very high in fat content, and
very viscous, so it doesn't just dissolve away instantly into the
surrounding water.  The baby is right there and slurps it up.  Whales and
dolphins all consume sea water when they feed on their adult diets as well.
I don't know if the above is true of all whales/dolphins, but I've seen it
several different times on documentaries on TV.
