Nancy:
I can't tell you where to look (though La Leche League's website might offer
some published wisdom on this matter), but I too had the same problem with my
1st daughter. Blood in stools. I stopped consuming ALL dairy products
(learning how to read labels and know the code words for dairy products).
Bloody stools stopped within a couple of weeks, as I recall. She is still
fairly allergic to dairy products even now at 4 years of age. I got no
advice on this from my pediatrician, but I got my info about bloody stool and
dairy allergy from LLL.
