I have checked out the website you referred to Cindy, and the reference to
fenugreek appears to have been removed - it certainly was not on the page
that your URL took me to.
My herbal reference text states that the active ingredients in fenugreek
are flavonoids, volatile oil, saponins and alkaloids. Its properties are
listed as "leaving a soothing protective coating over irritated surfaces
(internal demulcent, external emollient); nutrient; anti-inflammatory;
galactogogue; hypoglycaemic. A natural lubricant for the colon.
Oxytocic. Febrifuge."
No mention of coumarins which *are* contra-indicated in lactation.
