Sorry this is so late, but I have a breastfeeding doll made by a Sue
Smith in Uxbridge, Massachusettes. Her business is called Birthcrafts,
the baby is called BioBaby, and it runs about 1/3 the price of Lactessa.
Biobaby is a little smaller and lighter than Lactessa, but works
beautifully for teaching positioning, latch and fingerfeeding, etc. She
has a deep, open mouth, and a moveable tongue.
Feel free to email me privately for the phone number/address if you
can't find her, I don't know if Sue wants it on the front page of the NY
Times...
I of course have no financial connection in any way with BirthCrafts,
just have loved my Biobaby for 10 years now.
