Dear Lactnetters;
Beginning tomorrow, I am subleasing space within a chiropractor's office for
conducting lactation consultations. I have been in private practice for
almost a year; conducting most of my consults in mother's homes. I plan to
continue to offer home visits, but wanted office space for those mothers who
are more comfortable receiving consults in an office setting. This
chiropractor lives in my subdivision and is very supportive and knowledgeable
about breastfeeding. Any words of wisdom anyone is willing to share would be
most appreciative. Is anyone conducting your practice in an arrangement
similar to this one? If so, please offer me guidance....I'm still learning,
so I'd be most appreciative of mentoring.
Thanks!
Sincerely,
Carol Chamblin, RN, MS, IBCLC
