New article in Contemporary Pediatrics on Breastfeeding. Skimmed it very lightly, but looks good. "When a newborn or his mother is too ill for him to nurse, special steps are needed to ensure that baby gets the breast milk he requires. Pediatricians can do much to help mothers pump properly, maintain their milk supply, initiate breastfeeding and more."
The sites rec are: www.breastfeeding.org www.breastfeeding.com www.bflrc.com and www.lalecheleague.org
all of these familiar to most of us :-) good parent handout for prematures etc. Presents pros and cons of nipple shields, and much, much more. 24 pages LONG!!!!!
