I have a friend in Las Vegas who is an O'Reilly fanatic and watches the late
repeat of his show. Here's what he had to say about this episode:
>
> O'Reilly, who always takes the "devil's advocate" position, questioned
> whether a woman had ever been fired for expressing milk into a bottle (in a
> rest-room), and questioned whether a federal law was required to address this.
> >
> He did say he was for breastfeeding (he also made a dumb sexist joke), but
> he said he was not in favour of federal laws mandating the right that women
> can breastfeed in the office - because it could be disruptive to have a
> baby in the office. He also questions (without taking sides)
> breast-feeding in public (as a right) because not everyone will be
> discrete. Here he was just noting that there is another side.
>
> He noted that the wording of the law would be critical to his view of
> this. He feels that women should be able to express milk on their own time
> and in privacy at the workplace (nobody's business but theirs), but felt
> that public breastfeeding would invite abuse by those who don't value
> discretion, but who want an excuse to flaunt their breasts and skate around
> laws requiring people to be dressed in public.
Fox is winning the prime-time war between Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC.
O'Reilly's show has an audience of 2,082,000 as compared to CNN's biggest
show, "Larry King Live", which has 1,340,000.
