Just as an aside, I found each time that eventually despite regular
cycles I didn't actually start ovulating for another few more months.
Later if there was a time of marked increased feeding frequency due to
illness etc I would again often have anovular cycles. In my experience
lactation can still provide protection from pregnancy even after menses
have returned and solids have been introduced.although it could have
been all that night feeding!
