Hi Alexis!
I had to respond to your post. While living in Biloxi Mississippi after
the
birth of my first child, I had a related incident.
The rules in the Biloxi casinos state that you must be "legal" (I am
unsure
if that means 18 or 21) to be in the casino. Most do not even allow those
under the legal age to cross the gaming floor for restaurant access.....
So, I was refused admittance to the casino (wearing my 8 week old baby)
because she was not "legal age."
Although I was not forbidden to breastfeed her in the casino, it would
have
been impossible, since I could not go in.
The staff did find me a very comfortable chair, off the gaming floor,
where I
nursed the baby and patiently waited for my Mother In Law. (Who was
visiting
Biloxi for the first time, and wanted to make a quick trip to the
dollar-slots. It was worth the 30 min wait, since she won a very nice
jackpot, and treated us to dinner "out" for the remainder of her stay.)
So, I am wondering ....
Are the laws different in Nevada? Or is it other than the gaming floor
that
this mother wishes to nurse her baby?
Sorry for the ramble...
