One client, whose baby's suck was compromised but who had 3 other kids and
couldn't always pump as often as she should have, put a vegetable scale next
to the changing table and weighed the diapers as they came off. No
surprise, the diaper weights went up on the days when she was able to do
more pumping. And no surprise, diaper weight correlated with weight gain.
What I *really* like to see/hear is rolled eyes and an agonized "aaugh!"
from a mother when I ask about diapers :-)
