I am the one who originally posted the question about TPA. Thanks to all of
you for the discussion thus far. I was off yesterday and just now picked up
my email.
I too thought maybe it would be ok for mom to breastfeed. Then I pulled out
my 2002 Briggs and I quote:

"It is not know whether alteplase (t-PA) crosses into human milk. Because
of the nature of the indications for this agent and its very short initial
half-life (less than 5 minutes), the opportunities for its use during
lactation or the possibility of exposure to a nursing infant are minimal."

I'm not sure what that means. Is that a good thing?
Any feedback from Dr. Jack or Tom Hale??? It is not in Hale's book at all.
