Kathleen,
Just off the top of my head--has she eaten any foods that might adversely
effect supply--one summer my supply dropped dramatically and I was a bit
frantic until I realized I had been throwing bunches of parsley in my juiced
veggies-I stopped the parsley, took some herbs and my milk returned. She is
not using chemical contraceptives, correct? Also, the inhibited MER is
interesting, which of course could be a problem feeding on itself (anxiety),
but odd since she has a history of OAMER. Haven't we talked about this
before--moms who appear to have a great supply for the first three or four
months, and due to the body's tendency to OAMER the baby gains fast, then
suddenly there is a drop since stimulation really hasn't been that effective?
I know she is a very experienced mom (talks like an LC!), but could it be
that the latch has not been effective?
